Strap Questions
How long does it take for my strap order to ship?
All of our strap products take about 7-10 days before they will ship because they are all made to order.
Why do you choose to have all of your straps made and not just stock them? We have them all made to order so that you get a fresh made strap of better quality and in your choice of colors.
Why should I buy your straps and not just get some from the local hardware store? You can probably get a lower priced strap from the hardware store but you will also be getting a much lower quality strap as well. You know the old saying, “You get what you pay for.” Well that is very true with straps as well. Do you want to haul your new motorcycle with a cheap hardware store strap that may or may not break!
What does safe working load mean? Safe working load means the load that can be applied and still obtain the most efficient service and also prolong the life of the strap. In other words, it is a reasonable working load for the strap.
How do I know what strap to get for my load? You can figure that out with a little math. It is approximately 1/3 of your strap’s estimated breaking limit. If you have a strap that is rated at 1200 lbs for a breaking limit, then you can safely haul a 400 lb load with that strap.
Bike Rack Questions
Why should I choose a hitch mounted rack? Hitch mounted racks have many advantages.
They are very versatile. You can use them on almost any vehicle with a hitch.
Better gas mileage. Since they sit behind your car instead of on top, there is much less wind drag. That results in much better gas mileage.
Loading is easier. Since the rack sits much lower, it is much easier to load your bikes.
Keeps your car or truck much cleaner. Loading a dirty mountain bike up on top of a nice car or truck will result in all the dirt and mud falling onto the roof.
Motorcycle Carrier Questions
I have an SUV and don’t want to haul a trailer, will a motorcycle carrier work for me? A motorcycle carrier would work well for you. If you would like to take your bike places but just do not like hauling a trailer, then this is a good option.
I have a large RV and a couple of dirt bikes that I want to take with me on my trip. Is there a way that I can carry more than one bike? Yes. You can use one of our two bike hitch mounted carriers. It would work great for your application.
Trailer Hardware Questions
I have a nice trailer, but nothing good to tie my ATV down to. What can I use? We have all kinds of good D-rings, Load track and E track to help you set up your trailer.
I have a new enclosed trailer and I want to haul my motorcycle but have no way to secure the front wheel. What can I use? Motorcycle wheel chocks are the best way to safely secure the front wheel of a motorcycle for transportation.
Motorcycle Trailer Questions
I would really like to use a trailer to haul my street bike but I do not have room to store a trailer and I do not want to pay for storage. What can I do? You can check out one of our folding trailers. They can be taken down and stored in a closet if you wanted to. And the best part about it, you do not even need tools to do it!
I have a small car and I can’t pull a big trailer. Would one of these trailers work for me? The trailers that we sell are very light and can be pulled by almost any vehicle.
